A Thousand Paths is holistic –
working with all the interconnected areas of your life.

These are some of the things I can help you transform

Self Care

YOU

exercising

sleeping well

eating healthy meals

taking time for yourself

transforming harmful habits

getting the support you need

Give yourself permission to take care of you.
The root of self-care isn’t willpower.  It’s compassion.
Internal Family Systems Self-Care Coaching helps you say “Yes” to
what nourishes you and “No” to what doesn’t.

Self-care begins with connecting to your core Self, and from that place, making small changes over time that transform your life.

Relationships

Transform how you communicate with your partner: have the tough conversations real relationships require, while remaining centered, open, and connected.

Work with the parts of yourself that shield you from deeper intimacy.

Develop clarity about your values, so you can stand up for them with confidence.

Unravel difficult patterns between you and your partner.

Deepen your capacity to love.

Mindfulness

Access to Essence

Beneath day-to-day work and busyness, lies a deeper space within you. It’s expansive, resonant, whole. It goes by many names — true Self, spirit, being ‘in the flow’. This essence is always within; it’s just covered up, the way clouds cover the sun. Internal Family Systems coaching offers practical, immediate tools to help part the clouds and reveal the sun of Self, allowing you to access your essence, so that you can bring more of the real You into your everyday life.

Healing for Healers

You give.  You help.  You heal.

You take in other people’s energy, problems, issues, stress, and questions.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) can help you process the energy you’re exposed to

Move through and let go of energy you’ve absorbed

Learn emotional techniques that help you remain present to the people in your care while not absorbing negative energy

Practice a simple, yet powerful form of self-inquiry that you can teach to those you heal, enhancing their capacity for self-healing

Leadership

Great leadership starts from within.

Internal Family Systems is a model of personality based on the concept of self leadership, in which a core self leads your inner world. Leadership Coaching helps you strengthen your capacity to lead from the inside out. In addition, the language and framework of ‘parts’ can transform how you understand your business, your clients, your peers and yourself.

I am electrified by the way IFS applies leadership concepts to the inner world. It makes sense of why transformative business approaches like Ricardo Semler’s or W. Edwards Deming's are so radically effective: they value the 'parts' of their organizations, and are led from a place of curiosity and connectedness, not control or top-down management. I believe ‘parts’ values—such as deep democracy; respect for the entire system and each part within it; compassion; humility; and creativity—are becoming more and more important values for succeeding in our deeply socially connected world. IFS can help entrepreneurs and leaders become genuine visionaries, through practical, effective inner work that can revolutionize entire lives and businesses.

Simplicity, Organization & GTD

Inner Work = External Productivity

For me, there is tremendous value in the pursuit of simplicity, being organized, and getting things done—it involves the nitty-gritty details of how you live your life and the energy that surrounds you. I truly believe these are important issues, and that working on the parts involved can be a profoundly empowering path to bringing deeper focus and awareness to your life.

Internal Family Systems revolutionizes simplifying, organizing and Getting Things Done by normalizing the multiplicity of the mind (one part of you wants to get rid of old junk, while another part can’t let go— you’re ‘of two minds’).

These techniques work directly with the warring parts of the mind to resolve even the most entrenched mental quagmires and resultant real-life clutter, freeing you to connect to the calm clarity of your core Self.  It doesn’t happen overnight, but over time, engaging with parts in this arena of one’s life can be deeply transformative. It has been for me, and I really enjoy delving into this area of life, which I believe is as valuable on the inner journey as any other.

Meditation

Want to meditate, or meditate better?  Want inner peace, or a deeper sense of self, but just sitting on a cushion isn’t getting you there?  While meditating, people are told to “become the watcher” and to “watch their emotions come and go without judging,” but often aren’t given practical tools to do this. Internal Family Systems coaching is a method of helping people “become the watcher,” to actively practice compassion and non-judgment towards their thoughts and emotions. Coaching sessions can help people become meditators (or better meditators) while simultaneously helping resolve deeply held emotional patterns.

Spirituality

Spiritual Life Coaching answers the question:
How can I work with myself, spiritually, in a grounded and effective way?

For beginners who are just starting the inner journey, to advanced, highly individuated inner seekers, I can serve as a partner on the journey,
because I am profoundly committed to the spiritual path myself.

If you are interested in Spiritual Life Coaching, it might be helpful to consider the following questions:
