Developing and Deepening Your Own Personal Practice

You can be more confident, creative, compassionate, calm, connected, conscious, clear, courageous

IFS + Personal Practice Group

Next Class:Wednesday, September 13 @ 11 Am CST on zoom

Limited to 6 people who have a dedicated personal inner work practice that includes IFS.

Once five people commit to the class, it will run.

Do you love IFS, AND you also study the Enneagram? EFT Tapping? Authentic Movement? Focusing? Dance? Dream work? You name it!
This is a group to support YOU in your unique journey of inner work with IFS + all the modalities you use to enhance / support / deepen your IFS work.
Bring it all to the IFS + Personal Practice Group!

I changed the name of the group
to make it clear that ALL inner work modalities are welcome here.

Whether it’s psychedelics or liver flushes,
this is a space for fellow devotees of the inner path
to learn from and support each other on the journey.

After 20 years of inner work, and over 6,000 hours of personal IFS practice,
I understand much more than I could ever describe about what it takes to develop and deepen one’s individual inner work practice.

One of my personal missions is to help other people develop their own personal IFS practice.
This is sacred work to me.

I’m honored and excited to begin offering support to small groups of fellow seekers in this area.
I am open to co-creating the group support format with the group, as needs and wants emerge.

My initial idea for the format is:

check-in, making sure to include issues coming up in your IFS + personal practice
individual coaching with people who are experiencing stuck points / blending
Q & A around troubleshooting individual practice problems
kaizen — a small step you can take as a result of this class
to move your personal practice forward
closing

I’m open to co-creating the structure of this class to the needs of the group, including offering longer demonstrations and addressing specific topics in personal practice

The investment for the
class is $150

  • i study how to be an expert in one’s field so that I can be as effective at IFS and inner work as possible. I study leaders in many fields and the theories of mind / practice they use to achieve mastery.

From the purely theoretical work of K. Anders Ericsson, to top tennis players like Novak Djokovic or mathematicians who win the Fields Medal, I am fiercely obsessed with continuing to learn HOW to learn to work smarter, not harder, at inner work. I share my insights in every class.

  • Inner work is a practice. Practice needs to be a habit.

I study how people develop powerful positive habits. I invite us to work smarter, not harder, by building up our inner work habits.

My vision is for this group to be a place to slowly but surely, compassionately and mindfully, build inner work more and more deeply into our lives.

  • When YOU are the main architect of your life and your inner work, YOU have to write the blueprints. You draw the map. Only YOU know the territory well enough to understand the next right project / problem / part to work on.

I call this map-making, sense-creating work “scaffolding.” The inner world is invisible and without landmarks, but slowly over time the murky becomes visible, the unknown becomes more knowable, and the paths appear out of the fog.

”Scaffolding” is creating loose structures that allow our managers to feel more comfortable and confident in the inner work, to be situated and to have TRACTION in our process.

Sometimes it helps to take a step back from the work and have a meta-moment about “what exactly am I doing in my inner work?” or “how is my inner work going?” or “what is my stuck place in my inner work right now?”

The IFS + Personal Practice Group is an excellent place to take that meta-moment, to step back and assess your inner work, and to find ways to work smarter, not harder. To scaffold your work and feel more comfortable and confident in the daily and weekly practices you invest you heart and soul into.

Taking the time to be with your inner work, with other people who are also making their way every so gently, slowly and lovingly into their inner worlds. A compassionate, fun way to be accompanied on an otherwise quite solitary journey.
